Sylvester
Home
Titled Home, our first collection of 2026 draws inspiration from the home we grew up in, and the places we call home today.
Our initial inspiration were the roses Tom sketched in the spinal unit when he was pining for home. We developed his drawings into a beautiful embroidery and our Rose story, especially the Rose skirt teamed back with our boyish, boxy Venetians striped t-shirt, perfectly captures the spirit of Sylvester.
Venetian blinds casting a nostalgic shadow are the inspiration for new Sylvester stripes. These graphic horizontal stripes can be seen again in our Shutters story. This time realised in bias cut satin crepe, these stripes flutter and create an elevated, sophisticated silhouette. The Shutters story represents new territory for our Sylvester brand. Although still nonchalantly effortless to wear, these pieces are true event dressing.
Core to Sylvester is our denim and our Duplex jacket and Yard skirt share shapes with Tom’s cozy Sandringham abode. The contrast coloured collar and waistband detailing is our Sylvester tongue-in-cheek nod to classic workwear.
Parquet flooring fits together seamlessly and our Parquet knitwear pieces tie all the elements of this collection together, whether its our red cardigan buttoned over a Rose party dress or the espresso twinset thrown on with jeans.
Though very much a transeasonal collection, Home nods to winter with our super long, classic Cassiel trench coat and our Lounge pieces defined by sharp contrast piping.
New jewellery takes form with The Alley cat necklace and Sly pendant. Inspired by the sly cat who lives next door as it slinks across the fence, golden name tag twinkling in the sun, we are excited to continue to build our jewellery offering.
Our Home collection culminated in the building of our lookbook set. A familiar dining chair, parquet flooring, vases full of flowers from the garden and the perfect soundtrack created our home away from home.
Welcome in!
